Using their influence for the greater good, many members of the music and entertainment industries have joined forces by signing an open letter in support of the Justice in Policing Act of 2020, in the U.S. House of Representatives.

New York State lawmakers have decided to pass a bill to repeal statute 50-A, which keeps police officers’ disciplinary and personnel records private, following an open letter signed by hundreds in the entertainment industry.

The music industry is taking a stand, or rather a pause in order to observe and support “BlackOut Tuesday” part of the #TheShowMustBePaused initiative calling for “a day to take a beat for an honest, reflective and productive conversation…”

Machine Gun Kelly has been spending his time in quarantine covering a wide variety of songs. Called the “Lockdown Sessions,” Kelly gave Marilyn Manson a call on FaceTime asking for a song request. Kelly covered Rihanna’s “Love On The Brain.”
